In the Amateur tier, expect race-modified hot hatchbacks and boxy machines, ideal for some seriously close-quarters action. More cars and classes than ever before are in the Touring category. GRID Legends features our largest ever selection of hand-picked vehicles. In online and custom race events, you are able to ‘loan’ any car you don’t own, allowing you to race with any machine, though you’ll receive fewer end-of-race rewards. Owning a vehicle allows you to clock up mileage – and the more miles you record, the more performance upgrades you’ll unlock for that car (unlocked upgrades are then purchasable with in-game earnings). Most cars are awarded to players upon completing Career milestones, with some high-value vehicles only purchasable with in-game currency. The categories are also spread across three difficulty tiers – Amateur, Semi-Pro, and Pro – which you’ll unlock as you progress through Career mode.
